Welcome to The Hotel California - the ‘unofficial’ story behind the infamous song!
Step into the enchanting Lobby Bar of The Hotel California where six strangers, each from diverse walks of life, converge for a night that will change their destinies forever.
Against the backdrop of timeless melodies and the legendary catalog of the Eagles, they embark on a journey that delves into the intricacies of love - its discovery, its loss and preservation in the modern world.
In this captivating musical experience, audiences are immersed in a narrative woven from true love stories, each intricately crafted to mirror the poetic essence of the Eagles' lyrics.
With a tapestry of perfect harmonies and masterful guitar arrangements, every note resonates a timeless era of music that rocked generations.
As the night unfolds, questions linger: Who will be stood up? Whose heart will discover its long-awaited soulmate? Who will choose to walk away?
From the creators of the smash hit, RESPECT - The Aretha Franklin Story, together with an all star cast, Welcome to The Hotel California promises a roller-coaster ride of emotions with generous amounts of laughs along the way!
CASTING NOTES
We are open to expressions of interest from performers aged 25-50 of all gender identities, cultural backgrounds and access requirements.
All performers will need to be strong singers with the ability to harmonise - this show is strongly music focused.
This is not a typical musical theatre style of performing. Songs will be rock with a soul, pop and country undertones.
Performers who can also play an instrument is highly sought after.
Performers need to be great actors that can take direction well.
This is spoken in an American accent - we are open to all dialect as characters can be adapted.
Some movement and dance skills required.
PAYMENT SCHEME
Rehearsal Day Rate: $200.00 per rehearsal
Show Day Rate: $500.00 - $1,300.00 depending on role / experience / number of performances per show day
Total Pay: $3,000.00 - $19,500.00 for an estimated 15 days of work including rehearsal
Successful candidates will be offered a Deal Memo with a total tour fee

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated students with a passion for music and performing to join our Junior Trainee Program.
This paid trainee program offers a unique opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of production, including:
stage management, technical assisting, lighting, and audio.
Under the guidance of experienced professionals, trainees will have the chance to develop their skills, learn new techniques, and contribute to the success of our productions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with stage management duties, including set-up, coordination of rehearsals, and backstage operations.
- Provide support in technical areas such as lighting and audio setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with production team members to ensure smooth execution of performances and events.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in production practices.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and contribute to the team.
Requirements
- Enrolled as a student (high school, college, or equivalent).
- Passion for music and performing arts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a flexible schedule.
- Prior experience in theatre or production is preferred but not required.
